Food is absolutely fantastic! On our way to Garden Valley we pick up chips and salsa, because we love to use the salsa for the weekend. The best actual authentic Mexican food you will find in Idaho. Street tacos are great, and the fajitas are hearty and very filling.

Tables and floor were dirty upon arrival (hostess cleaned up before we sat down), food was bland, Service was lacking(wrong drinks, wrong dishes brought out). All forgivable but not all together in one experience.

Food was good, service was not.

Went there around three PM and most tables and booths were not clean. Only four other customers in restaurant and they had already been served. I went to use the bathroom and the toilet seat was too scary to use. We ordered a margarita on ice and the waitress brought it blended. She left so fast and never checked back so we couldn't get it corrected. I don't know if they have a liquor license or not but if there was tequila in the margaritas it it wasn't much. Food was alright, I doubt I will ever come back. I don't like eating in places that aren't clean where customers can see, it really makes me wonder what it's like where we can't see.

Excellent service and the Chilli Relleno was one of the better I've had. Served with nice fresh Green leaf lettuce, not iceberg!Their salsa is fantastic!

Haven’t had a chance to eat there, closed during normal business hours both times we have tried. I have gotten chips and salsa to go a couple of times and hands down some of the best salsa we’ve ever had. I’m sure the food is excellent, can’t wait to try it. We used to go to McCall for Mexican, won’t be doing that anymore.

Food at Sonora is consistently good and service is always stellar. Great place to stop and eat when traveling on Scenic Byway 55...just under 20 minutes north of Eagle.

Food took too long, workers were rude and food was cold by the time I got it. The only thing that TASTED fresh were my tortillas. Would not recommend!! Try Locking Horns Riverside Restaurant, their food is fresh and warm when you get it! Even Corner Cafe is better.

Don't let the appearance stop you. Carne asada burrito was the best. Portions are bigI so you can split it. I love the fresh cilantro and onions. Beans could be better. Service was friendly.

Stopped in after some fun at Cascade Lake on the way back to Boise. We’re spoiled with a couple fantastic places near us with family recipes directly from central Mexico, so we tend to look for other really good Mexican restaurants. Sonora’s got it! Great food, solid portions, and the price was really good as well. I wouldn’t hesitate going in again. 👍🏼

The staff was very good, and the food was delishes ! I had shrimp in garlic and onion sauce, I can truly say that it was an amazing dish.

We waited over an hour for our food and gave up. The waitress apologized. The were not that busy. Went to El Mariachi Loco in Star, ID. They have great food and service. I would not recommend the Sonora Restaurant.
